Hiking into Lava Lake from Big Springs Snow Park the weather was good staying below freezing with some clouds, sun and snow showers. After a easy 3.3 mile hike to the lake we ate lunch and enjoyed the winter wonderland. On our return we took the Big Spring trail loop back to the car. Trail map below. | |
